Providing San Diego’s basketball players teams and training to reach their full potential. Get Better Hoops is a basketball organization dedicated to teaching kids based on the experiences of our highly skilled coaches, all of whom have played basketball at an advanced level, including professionally.

Get Better Training and Programs

Our training and development programs are designed to build well-rounded players. We focus on teaching the basic fundamentals, advancing position-specific techniques for guards, forwards, and centers, and refining advanced skills like shooting, ball handling, and court awareness.

In addition, we offer Measuring Programs, providing athletes with personalized assessments to track their progress, identify areas for growth, and set goals for improvement. Our programs ensure each player develops at their own pace while preparing to compete at a higher level.

Get Better Teams

We offer Competitive Basketball Teams tailored to every level of play:

• Local Teams (10U–17U): Perfect for players who want to develop their skills and compete against teams in the San Diego area. These teams emphasize growth, teamwork, and building strong fundamentals in a competitive yet supportive environment.

• Travel Teams (12U–17U): Designed for players looking to compete at an elite level, these teams travel to tournaments across the region and beyond. Athletes on travel teams are challenged to face top competition, hone their abilities, and gain exposure to opportunities at the next level.
